It's available to pre-order now!
We're just a couple of months away from Wet Wet Wet going on their UK tour with Go West, and now the band have announced a limited edition LP called 'Live In Denmark'.
The double vinyl album was recorded in the prestigious Tinghallen venue in Viborg during the band’s tour of Denmark in September 2023. The LP features two differently coloured 12-inch vinyl LP records and includes 15 songs in total. On the LP is a recording of the band’s full show from the evening.
Speaking about the new LP, bass player Graeme Clark said: "Denmark & Wet Wet Wet go back a long way. Having written and recorded hit singles in Puk Studios, had Indian takeaways sent over, performed on numerous TV and radio shows plus played many memorable gigs and festivals, the Nordic kingdom has a unique place in our hearts.
"This set sounds fresh, clear, and iconic with the performances being tight and totally together. This double live album is another important part of the band’s continuing story."
Singer Kevin Simm said: "It was such a great experience to tour in Denmark. The audiences were so welcoming, and it was an absolute pleasure to be part of the band bringing the music of Wet Wet Wet back to the country once again."
Guitarist Graeme Duffin added: "It was wonderful to have been so well received in Denmark, and to be able to pull together a great sounding double album from the final show in Viborg was a real bonus, I’m delighted with it."
