We are now less than a month away from The Waterboys tour, and the 'Whole Of The Moon' band have now announced they will have an additional member of the band joining them for their UK and Ireland tour.

The band, who have recently released their album 'Life, Death And Dennis Hopper', featuring 25 songs, have revealed that singer Barny Fletcher will be accompanying them on tour, as they perform at venues including Liverpool, Gateshead, Manchester and many more locations.

Announcing the news on social media, The Waterboys wrote: 'WATERBOYS - SIXTH MEMBER FOR UK / IRISH TOUR

'We're delighted to announce that English singer Barny Fletcher, who sang most of the backing vocals on Life, Death And Dennis Hopper will be joining the band for their upcoming tour. Barny won't be opening the show, he'll be a Waterboy, contributing extra vocals to the band's set. Mike Scott says: "Barny's vocals added a wonderful dimension to the album and we're thrilled to have him on board for the tour."
