Prince 'Live At The Glam Slam' released ahead of reissued 'Diamonds and Pearls' ✨
'Diamonds and Pearls' is out on 27th October
We're just a couple of weeks away from the reissued version of 'Diamonds and Pearls', Prince's 13th album, featuring hits such as 'Gett Off', 'Cream' and 'Money Don't Matter 2 Night'. And ahead of the re-issued album, 'Live At the Glam Slam' a recording that's never been released, is now available to buy, featuring Prince's performance on the 11th January back in 1992.
'Glam Slam' was Prince’s Minneapolis club, and the recording was from the last minute show put on to preview his new tour.
'Live At The Glam Slam' was the only time Prince & The New Power Generation publicly performed the full 'Diamonds And Pearls Tour' show in the USA, which included several new songs at the time: 'Thunder', 'Insatiable', and 'Willing And Able'.
Since the announcement of the album's release, fans have been leaving very excited messages, with one writing: 'Amazing show! More live releases please!', and another saying: 'I love every second of it! 💜'.
A third wrote: 'It’s absolutely amazing! 💜💜🕺🏽🕺🏽'.
'Live At The Glam Slam' is also featured on the upcoming reissue of Prince's album 'Diamonds and Pearls' which features 47 previously unreleased tracks, and more than two hours of live filmed concert footage in high definition. Spread across 7CD + Blu-ray or a 12LP + Blu-ray Super Deluxe Edition boxed set, this is the ultimate record for Prince's fans.
