Oasis release limited editions of 'Definitely Maybe' for its 30th anniversary

Just a day before tickets go on sale for the eagerly-awaited Oasis reunion 2025 tour, the band have released limited editions of their iconic 'Definitely Maybe' album. Back in May 2024, the band announced the exciting release, following a series of cryptic posts, which led many fans to think there was a reunion on the horizon.
On the day of the album's release, the band took to their social media channels writing: '‘Definitely Maybe’ 30th Anniversary limited editions are out today!
'Deluxe formats feature unheard Monnow Valley versions and Sawmills Studios outtakes, including fan favourite ‘Sad Song (Mauldeth Road West Demo, Nov '92)’ sung by Liam.
'Available on deluxe 4LP, 2CD, coloured vinyl, cassette and digitally with new artwork and sleeve notes. Listen or order your copy here'.
Released on Friday 30th August 2024, the exact day Oasis’ ‘Definitely Maybe celebrates its 30th birthday, the deluxe reissue is available on 4xLP, limited-edition 2xLP, 2xCD and cassette formats alongside a variety of merchandise bundles.
All editions feature the 2014 remastered original album, while the deluxe 4xLP and 2xCD versions are augmented by the previously unreleased and discarded original recording session from Monnow Valley along with outtakes from Sawmills Studios plus a demo of ‘Sad Song’ featuring Liam Gallagher’s vocals.
All 16 tracks on the bonus discs have been newly mixed for the 30th anniversary re-release by Noel Gallagher and Callum Marinho.
The fastest-ever selling debut in the UK on release, ‘Definitely Maybe’ has gone on to shift almost seven million copies globally.
Boasting seminal anthems including ‘Cigarettes and Alcohol’, ‘Supersonic’ and ‘Live Forever’, the album is the second most streamed album of the 90s in the UK following Oasis’ '(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?' at Number 1.

'Closer' is Kim's first studio album since 2018's 'Here Come The Aliens' and is guaranteed to bring more hits, alongside that unmistakable voice. Intended as a companion piece to her fan-favourite 1988 album 'Close', this new offering is said to be made up of a combination of pop, rock and dance.
