Almost 13 years on from their last concert, Genesis have reformed for a November and December 2020 UK & Ireland arena tour.

The current incarnation of Genesis features keyboardist Tony Banks and bassist/guitarist Mike Rutherford and singer Phil Collins. Steve Hackett and Peter Gabriel aren’t taking part in the reunion.

The core Genesis trio will be joined by Phil Collins’ teenage son Nic on drums and long-standing guitarist Daryl Stuermer at the upcoming shows.

Entitled 'The Last Domino?' Tour, Genesis’ UK & Ireland reunion trek opens at Dublin 3Arena on Monday 16th November and calls in at Belfast SSE Arena, Liverpool M&S Bank Arena, Newcastle Utilita Arena, London The O2 (where they will be playing two nights), Leeds First Direct Arena, Birmingham Utilita Arena, Manchester Arena and Glasgow The SSE Hydro.

How to buy Genesis UK tour tickets

Tickets will be extremely high in demand when they go on sale from Aloud.com at 9am on Friday 6th March

Genesis’ last live concert took place at The Hollywood Bowl in California on 13th October 2007 as part of their global trek entitled 'Turn It On Again: The Tour'. Their last UK shows were at Twickenham Stadium, Old Trafford Football Stadium and Live Earth London in July of that year.

Last June, Phil Collins and Mike Rutherford shared the stage together for the first time in 12 years at the Berlin Olympiastadion. Mike played guitar on the 1978 Genesis track ‘Follow You Follow Me’ at Phil's sold-out show.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain in March of last year, Mike admitted he was open to a Genesis reunion, saying, "I’ve always said, for years, never say never and we did the tour 10 years ago… Who knows?

"Phil (Collins) is in good shape now out touring, his son (Nic) is drumming – fantastic drummer. Never say never. We’re all fit and healthy and we get on well, (we’re) good friends. I mean, you never know."

Genesis' Mike Rutherford, Phil Collins and Tony Banks

In January 2018, Tony Banks confirmed to US radio station 91.9 WFKP he’d be up for a Genesis reunion should the opportunity arise.

Then in August 2018, Phil Collins said Mike and Tony were both so 'blown away' by his teenage son Nic’s drumming on his 'Not Dead Yet!' solo tour that he believes they’d be open to Nic joining Genesis.

Genesis are one of the world’s biggest selling and most successful bands of all time. They have sold an estimated 100 million albums and have played to sold-out stadiums and arenas all over the world for decades.
