Elton John is no stranger to collaborations with other talented artists, and his latest is a mashup of his track 'Bennie And The Jets' and ABBA's 'Chiquitita'. The two songs were put together initially by a TikTok user called reymifasol, and the music sample became popular on the platform. Now Elton and Benny Andersson have jumped on the trend to share a video of themselves playing their respective songs.

Elton shared the video, which shows Benny playing the beginning of 'Chiquitita' and seamlessly switching to Elton on his piano playing the start of 'Bennie And the Jets'. He captioned the video: 'Heard about this little mashup of Bennie and the Jets with @ABBA and had to get involved' (sic)

ABBA also shared the same video on their account, and fans of both artists were thrilled to see them working together. The ABBA Voyage account commented: 'Icons only. The duet we’ve been waiting for 😍', with Spotify adding: 'We need this collab!'.

One fan wrote: 'Benny and Elton together?😭 This is the most wholesome thing ever🥹💗' while another added: 'THE WAY MY JAW DROPPED OMG. This is AMAZING, best day ever 🥰😍'. (sic)

Many were left wanting to hear more of the new song, with one user saying: 'full version? please and thank you.' and another writing: 'omg more pleaseeeeee!!' (sic)

Nothing else has been said about a full collaboration between the two, but we have our fingers crossed!
