A Youtuber has released a cover of Depeche Mode’s 1989 hit ‘Personal Jesus’ in the style of Motörhead and it’s something we never knew we needed.

Denis Pauna posted the heavier version of the dance song, called 'What If Motörhead Wrote Personal Jesus' on his Youtube channel in late January, with the video attracting over 40,000 views.

In the video, Pauna is seen performing each element of the song in a heavy rock style, including vocals, bass and shredding on his guitar.

One user commented 'As a fan of both Depeche Mode and Motörhead... this RULED!! 🤘🏻' and another said 'The best crossover ever!'

He has also released similar covers of Metallica’s ‘Enter Sandman’ and Nirvana’s ‘Come As You Are’ on his channel.

We'd love to see more heavier covers of dance chart-toppers!
