Off the back of their 2022 tour, Blondie co-founders Debbie Harry and Chris Stein were due to return to the UK for their special An Evening With Debbie Harry and Chris Stein In Conversation shows.

The In Conversation events were meant to take place in November, but will now happen in May 2023. The group announced the postponement on social media.

They wrote: 'You must know by now how very much we look forward to our trips to Britain. This IN CONVERSATION postponement should not be the end of the world, true, its just a few more months away… and provides some time for Chris to address a few health issues.

'We hope that you all can hang in there with us and still make it to the new May 2023 dates for our In Conversation events in the UK.. Thanks for the support and love, Debbie & Chris xx'. (sic)

Chris also had to step away from touring while the band made their way across North America earlier this year due to persistent health issues. Speaking about his heart condition, which is called Atrial Fibrillation, he said at the time: 'You might remember I was sitting down during the last tours, that was why. My brain is doing great and I've been writing during covid.'
