Nicole Appleton hints at an All Saints Glastonbury reunion
They would be celebrating 30 years
Last updated 13th Jun 2024
It's been nearly 30 years since All Saints, known for hits such as 'Never Ever', 'Pure Shores' and 'Black Coffee', started out with their famous line-up of Melanie Blatt, Shaznay Lewis, Nicole and Natalie Appleton, and now Nicole has hinted at a reunion.
The singer has revealed that despite the band not releasing anything since they covered Sting's 'Message In A Bottle' in 2020, they talk regularly and would jump at the opportunity to reunite at Glastonbury.
The band's 'official' 30th anniversary is in 2026. However, with the festival possibly having a fallow year to let the ground recover, 2025 could be the only opportunity for the group to celebrate their 30th anniversary.
Speaking to OK!, Nicole said: "All Saints would love to perform at Glastonbury, absolutely. If people are hungry for it, then definitely."
She went to to explain that they're all happy doing their own things at the moment, continuing: "We’ve spent 25 years together. But when it comes to performing, not this year.
"We’re all sort of doing our own thing at the moment, so it’s kind of nice that we can have a little bit of a break. I’m quite happy doing what I’m doing and the girls are happy doing what they’re doing, but it’s all good."
While Nicole is concentrating on her Magic Radio show, Shaznay Lewis and Melanie Blatt have been releasing solo music this year, while Nicole's sister Natalie competed in The Masked Singer last year, as Fawn.
This year's Glastonbury is due to take place between 26th and 30th June, welcoming acts such as Shania Twain, Lulu, Cyndi Lauper, Coldplay, and Paul Heaton.
