Alison Moyet releases her 10th studio album 'Key'

Earlier this year, Alison Moyet teased a big announcement, with the singer later confirming a new album will be released in October. The former Yazoo singer, who is also known for her solo hits 'Is This Love?', and 'Love Letters', also revealed she will be going on tour in 2025.

Alison's new album was released on 4th October, and features a massive 18 tracks, including several reworked singles, some fan favourites, and two new songs.

Before the album's release, Alison took to Instagram to share the artwork writing: 'Finally the news you've been waiting for: Alison Moyet announces her new album KEY and a 2025 World Tour.'

Since the announcement, fans have been leaving excited messages. One wrote: 'Best. News. Ever! 🙌❤️🥳🎤', and another said: 'This was the most pleasant surprise in quite some time! All of us adore you, Alison! I 100% catch you on tour.'

The singer created the album artwork herself, after she graduated from Brighton University in 2023, with a first-class degree in Fine Art Printmaking BA (Hons).

Speaking about the new album, Alison said: "I wanted to take the opportunity to look at the trajectory of the past four decades and explore songs that, in their original form, were never fully realised or have had their relevance to me altered by time."

She continued: "I hope this collection will be the key to those unopened doors. Let yourself in."

What formats is 'Key' available on?

'Key' will be available on several different vinyls, as well as CD.

On the day of the album's release, Alison shared a video of her new album, showing fans what's included along with the different coloured vinyl options.

'Closer' is Kim's first studio album since 2018's 'Here Come The Aliens' and is guaranteed to bring more hits, alongside that unmistakable voice. Intended as a companion piece to her fan-favourite 1988 album 'Close', this new offering is said to be made up of a combination of pop, rock and dance.
