Tina Turner, known for her massive hits 'We Don't Need Another Hero (Thunderdome)', 'Private Dancer' and 'The Best', has just turned 80. The pop legend took the opportunity to share an inspirational message with her fans and it seems that Tina hasn't let turning 80 get in her way.

Posting a short video on Twitter the singer told her fans, "Yes, I'm 80. What did I think, how did I think I would be at 80?"

She went on to say, "How is this? I look great, I feel good. I've gone through some very serious sicknesses that I'm overcoming, so it's like having a second chance at life. I'm happy to be an 80-year-old."

Since Tina posted her video a few days ago she's had a huge amount of support on social with nearly 30K people liking her video, and nearly 10K commenting on her post. One fan said, 'Baby, you’ve got it. What an inspiring message for us. To know that you’re still smiling even though life is challenging is a fine example.', with another posting, 'I never wanted to be 80 years old like now. I want to become this beautiful, vital and glamorous. God bless your life. Happy Birthday, Tina.🎈🎈🍷💞🤩⭐️💚💞🎸🎶💙👩‍🚀'.

Along with other fans, Bryan Adams also took to Twitter recording a video to wish 'The Best' singer a Happy Birthday, saying she was, 'The most excitable singer - ever'.
