First Dates and I'm A Celeb star Fred Sirieix has taken to social media to publicly express his pride in daughter Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix, as the 19-year-old has won a Bronze medal alongside diving partner Lois Toulson!

Andrea and Lois took part in Wednesday morning's synchronised 10m platform diving competition, where they scored an impressive 304.38 points across five dives to secure the Bronze medal for Team GB.

Following their performance, Andrea's dad Fred shared a video of the talented pair's final dive, writing: 'What emotions! What a beautiful moment! How many tears!!!!

'I’m bursting with pride, joy and happiness.

'Well done and congrats @andreassirieix04 and @lois_toulson 🥉🥉🥉'. (sic)

Fred's followers and fellow Team GB fans were quick to comment on the post, sending their messages of support.

One wrote: 'They were incredible I can just imagine how proud you are ❤️❤️🙌', with another writing: 'The MOMENT dreams are made of. Congratulations to TEAM Sirieix @andreassirieix04 😍😍😍'.

A third added: 'Amazing and many congratulations to the girls, I was watching every dive in awe, they make it look so easy 🙌', with another adding: 'She was PHENOMENAL!!!!! You must be so proud'.

Somebody else wrote: 'They both smashed it!!!! Amazing performance ........ I know you are so incredibly proud ❤️ congratulations'. (sic)

Andrea, 19, and Lois, 24, competed in the synchronised 10m platform diving competition on Wednesday (31st July) morning, attempting to follow in the footsteps of male pairing Tom Daley and Noah Williams, who secured a Silver medal earlier this week.

The girls performed five incredible dives to secure Bronze, with North Korea winning Silver, and Chinese pair Chen Yuxi and Quan Hongchan achieving Gold with a huge score of 359.10.

The medal makes that three out of three so far for Team GB in the diving, after Yasmin Harper and Scarlett Mew Jensen won a Bronze medal in the 3m synchronised springboard on day one of the Paris Olympics.

Meanwhile, whilst proud dad Fred is currently out in Paris watching his daughter live out her dreams, he delighted fans last week by announcing popular show First Dates would be returning to our screens in August.

The brand new series will arrive on Tuesday 6th August at 10pm on Channel 4.
