Thief makes off with alcohol after robbing West Lothian business

Police have launched an investigation to trace the suspect

Police are appealing for information following a break-in at a business in West Lothian.

It happened at a premises on Bankton Walk, Murieston, shortly after midnight on Monday.

The suspect is being described as a male of average build and approximately 6ft in height, with facial hair.

It is believed the man broke into the premises, and took a quantity of alcohol.

Detective Constable Ross Collett of Livingston CID said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I am appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have seen anything suspicious or who may have private CCTV or dash cam footage which could assist us to get in touch.”
