Teenager charged following a series of housebreakings in Dalkeith

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested and charged in connection with a series of theft and attempted theft by housebreakings in Dalkeith.
The offences took place at various business and educational establishments in the area between Tuesday, 24 October, and Sunday, 19 November.
He is due to appear before Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Thursday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson has said "We would like to thank the local community for their assistance with this matter".
