Police Scotland has released a CCTV image of a man they are looking for in connection with a deliberate fire at a flat in Edinburgh city centre last month.

The building on Earl Street went up in flames on the evening of 19 September at around 8:45pm.

It was reported fire crews rescued five tenants from the Lothian Road premises.

Detective Constable Russell Muir said “I would urge the male pictured or anyone who has information relating to him to contact police”.
