Man, 73, in serious condition following two-car crash in Larbert

Police are appealing for witnesses

A 73-year-old man is in a serious but stable condition in hospital following a two car crash in Larbert.

He was driving a Peugeot 300 on the A9, Stirling Road, on Wednesday around 1.40pm when it collided with a Nissan Qashqai.

The driver, a 61-year-old woman, was also taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital but later released.

The road was closed and reopened about 3pm.

Police appeal for witnesses

Sergeant Scott Kirkpatrick said “As our enquiries continue to establish the circumstances surrounding this crash, I would urge any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

“If you were in the area of Stirling Road, Larbert, around the time of the crash, or if you have any dashcam footage, please contact us as soon as possible.

“Information can be passed to officers through 101 quoting incident number 1754 of Wednesday, 21 February.”
