Man in hospital after being struck by car in Dunbar
Officers are looking for anyone who saw what happened or with dashcam footage to come forward.
A 79-year-old man is in hospital after being knocked off his bike by a car in Dunbar this morning.
It happened at around 10.15 on the High Street at the junction with Brewery Lane.
He was taken to the Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh for treatment.
The driver of the silver Vauxhall Astra, a 60-year-old woman, was not injured.
Police Constable Stewart Logan said: “Our enquiries to establish the full circumstances of what happened are ongoing.
“Anyone who saw what happened or who has dash-cam footage that can assist is asked to call us on 101, quoting incident number 1121 of Sunday, 23 April, 2023.”
