An investigation’s underway after a man was found dead in East Lothian.
Emergency services were called to the seaside street of Mountjoy Terrace in Musselburgh just after 6am this morning.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.15 am on Monday, July 17, a man was found deceased on Mountjoy Terrace, Musselburgh.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding his death.
Officers remain at the scene.”
