Man, 45, charged after spate of robberies in Edinburgh

A-45-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with two robberies and an attempted robbery in the Colinton area of Edinburgh.

Police have said the incidents took place on the weekend of October 7 on Bridge Road, Colinton Road and Ashley Terrace.

He's expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday.

Detective Constable Peter Lyons said: “We’d like to thank the public for their assistance with our enquiries following our earlier appeal.”
