His Majesty’s Royal Marines Band Scotland have been putting the final touches together for their performance at this year’s Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo – onboard the unique setting of the mighty HMS Queen Elizabeth.

Anticipation is building as there is only one month to go until the Tattoo presents Journeys at The Edinburgh Castle Arena, with lead military service the Royal Navy.

The performance will pay tribute to seafarers that brave the ocean to travel across continents bringing people and cultures together.

Led by their new Principal Director of Music, Lieutenant Colonel Huw Williams and Corps Drum Major, Warrant Officer First Class Chris Mace MVO, musicians and buglers from The Massed Band of His Majesty’s Royal Marines will transport audiences on a musical voyage with sea shanties and traditional Naval tunes with a contemporary twist.

The Tattoo is performed to a live audience of 220,000 annually on the Esplanade of Edinburgh Castle with a further global TV audience of +100M. Performers from over 50 countries have taken part.

Performed between the 2 - 24 August 2024, tickets can be secured at edintattoo.co.uk/tickets or on the phone, 0131 225 1188.
