The Forth Local Hero Award with The Edinburgh Evening News is designed to honour a person who throughout their own lifetime, however long or short, make differences to the lives of others in their local community.
Last time we had hundreds of nominations for individuals throughout Edinburgh, the Lothian’s and Fife. People who made a difference to the lives of others within their community. There were nominations for everyone from voluntary workers, to local campaigners and even successful businessmen and women.
