Scunthorpe United have called off their next three League Two games after further positive coronavirus tests at the club.

It means tonight's (Oct. 27) match against Salford City will be rescheduled, as well as the game against Colchester on Friday (Oct. 30) and the clash with Port Vale next Tuesday (Nov. 3).

A total of eight players at the Iron have tested positive for Covid-19, and 10 more are having to self-isolate. That left manager Paul Hurst with just 10 players to choose from, meaning they wouldn't have been able to fill the pitch.

The club's remaining players will now have to stop training for seven days as a precaution.

A statement says the players who've tested positive won't be named, and that they are working with Public Health England and the EFL to make sure all the correct measures are in place.
