Yellow weather warning issued for East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire
More rain is on its way after Storm Babet hit the UK last week.
The Met Office have issued a yellow weather warning for rain in East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire today (Tuesday 24 October).
The alert extends from Driffield down to Skegness, covering Hull, York, Leeds, Sheffield, Grimsby, Lincoln and Nottingham.
The Met Office says people should expect some road closures due to spray and flooding, with a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, and fast flowing or deep floodwater could cause a danger to life.
Met Office meteorologist Ellie Glazure said the storm "Is expected to bring some heavy rainfall, widely 10 to 20mm of rain, but some parts of Lincolnshire and Humberside could see 50mm of rain.
"Usually at this time of year that's not to unusual but after the rain we've seen over the past week there could be some further sensitivities for some areas already seeing some very heavy rainfall."
East and North Hull were ranked as the two most flood-prone areas in England, with West Hull and Hessle ranked fourth - according to research from the Environment Agency and Flood Re.
Ellie Glazure said: "The rivers at the moment are very high due to all the rain we saw last week and they're expected to be quite high over the next couple of days so this rain will only add to that so there could be some very fast flowing water, so definitely we would advise people to take care if they're out and about "
