Viking have secured a major new deal with Hull City for full match commentary on their Premier League Games both home and away for the remainder of the season.

The Bauer City Network has agreed a significant partnership with the club that will see its ‘Viking FM’ and ‘Viking 2’ stations further deepen both brands connection to the community in East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire.

Viking 2 will deliver full match commentary of all Hull City’s games in the 2016/17, both home and away and Viking FM will be an integral part of the match day experience at the KCOM stadium. The Tigers have made a dream start, beating Champions Leicester and then Swansea in their opening matches and this Saturday fans can hear all the action on Viking 2 as Hull City welcome Manchester United for the 5.30pm kick off.

Owen Ryan, Group Content Director, Bauer City Network said:

“This is an incredibly exciting partnership with the potential to significantly increase the reach of our brands and open up new commercial partner opportunities. The wide-ranging deal brings the power of the Bauer City Network and Hull City FC together with a shared vision of delivering outstanding family entertainment to the region.” Few football clubs have the ability to win promotion back the Premier League at the first time of asking, but that’s exactly what Hull City achieved last season and this year Viking will be there every step of the way.
