Two teenagers arrested after suspected arson at Spalding Moor business
Police say two people were seen running from the scene
Two teenage boys have been arrested after a suspected arson attack at a business premises in Spalding Moor in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency services were called at around 2:40am on Wednesday (10 September) to reports of a fire on Moor End.
Fire crews quickly brought the blaze under control and no one was hurt.
Police say two people were seen running from the scene as officers arrived.
Following enquiries, two addresses linked to the suspects were searched and two 14-year-old boys were arrested on suspicion of arson.
They remain in custody.
Anyone with information, including CCTV or dashcam footage from the area, is asked to call police.
