Two in "life-threatening condition" after Spring Bank crash

Police in Hull say two people are being questioned

Two people are in hospital in what's believed to be a "life-threatening" condition with serious injuries.

It's after a collision involving two pedestrians and a car down Spring Bank in Hull near the junction with Louis Street.

Humberside Police were called around 9 o clock to reports of collision.

They say a grey BMW was "travelling eastbound before colliding with two pedestrians near the junction with Louis Street"

Paramedics also attended the scene, with two pedestrians taken to hospital for serious, possibly life-threatening injuries.

Two men, who are 36 and 40 have been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury and other driving offences.

Both remain in custody while investigations continue.

Humberside Police are asking anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact police on 101 quoting log 428 of 2nd July.
