Two cannabis farms found in Gainsborough
Police want anyone with information to come forward.
Two cannabis farms have been found in Gainsborough.
Police found 50 plants at a property on Waterworks Street on Friday and 170 plants at a property on Spring Gardens on Monday.
The two incidents aren't though to be linked.
22 year-old Fabio Balliu has appeared in court charged with producing cannabis in connection with the second incident - he's due back in court next month.
An investigation is ongoing into the first incident.
Officers would still like to hear from anyone if they have information which could help their inquiries into either incident.
Inspector for Gainsborough, Gary Brockie said: “We work really closely with the local community which helps support information we have about drugs and other crimes. With cannabis grows, we often find that high volumes of electricity and fertilizer are used to feed the plants which causes a real and genuine concern, and danger for those living nearby. If you suspect activity like this is taking place, please do the right thing and let us know.”
