Two further arrests have been made in the murder investigation of 21-year-old Mateusz Szleper in Hull.

A 17-year-old boy and 24-year-old man, both from Hull, are helping police with enquiries.

It's in addition to four men who've been arrested and bailed.

Detective Chief Inspector Matthew Baldwin said;

“Developments in our continuing investigation took some of my officers to the West Midlands area where they arrested a 17 year old boy and a 24 year old man yesterday.

“Both are recent residents of Hull and they have been brought back to the area where they are now in custody assisting with enquiries into the murder of Mateusz Szleper.

“I would like to reassure the public that there is no let-up in the momentum of the investigation and we are still interested in hearing from anyone with information about this violent incident. If you know anything and have not spoken to police I would urge you to do so. We are determined to bring Mateusz’s killer to justice and appeal to the public to call 101 quoting log number 385 of 14 February, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
