An historic win for North Ferriby United means the Villagers are off to Wembley. They booked their place in the FA Trophy final with a penalty shoot-out victory over Braintree, despite playing the last ten minutes of extra time with just 10 men. They’ll face Wrexham at the National Stadium on the 29th of March.

In the Premier League not so good for Hull City - the Tigers losing 1-nil at Stoke. Peter Crouch getting the goal that sunk Steve Bruce’s side - which the boss is sure shouldn't have stood, as he thinks it was clearly offside. In League One Hakeeb Adelakun equalised for Scunthorpe as they were held to a 1-all home draw by bottom side Yeovil. In League Two York’s match with Exeter at Bootham Crescent was goalless. Grimsby continued their Conference promotion push with a 1-nil win over Braintree - Craig Disley the Mariner’s scorer. And in Conference North Gainsborough had a 3-all draw with Hyde. In Super League Hull FC suffered a narrow defeat at Salford last night. They went down 32-28 to the Red Devils. Hull KR take on Wigan Warriors today. Forward Kevin Larroyer returns to the side for the first time this year - he's been recovering from a facial injury. Head coach Chris Chester knows it'll be no easy fixture and says the team's defense is something they've been working hard to improve after big losses in their first two games of the season.
