Over 50 vessels sailed to Hessle Foreshore last night for a special event to mark 70 years of her majesty's coronation.
It kicked off at in Hull city centre where two spitfires flew over the marina.
40,000 people gathered at either side of the Humber Bridge to spectate the flotilla event and got involved in the gala.
Suraya Hutchinson held a mini street party under the Humber Bridge she said:
"Because of COVID, it's the first time as a community we've been able to celebrate something. My friends, families, neighbours and everything passing by are welcome to come for food and drinks."
Phil Withers is from Hessle Town Council - he says a variety of vessels turned out, he said:
"We've got things like Vulcan which is one of the Humber barges that is over 100 years old. I'd say the most favourite vessel is the Yorkshire Belle that's come from Bridlington. She's celebrating her 57th birthday,"
Christopher Oughtred is the Vice Lord Lieutenant for the East Riding of Yorkshire - he lit the beacon towards the end of the evening and said:
"I think we've been able to do something quite special here with our flotilla. We lit the beacon, showed a firework display, I think the Queen would be proud."
The Mayor of Hessle Town Council, Cllr Phil Davidson and his wife Liz who share the same name as her majesty the Queen and Prince Philip were in the full Royal spirit last night, he said:
"When the Queen came to open the Humber Bridge in 1981, that's iconic and we cherish that. But today is about the Queen and her 70 years on the thrown and that's been marvellous."
