Cllr Elaine Marper, North Lincolnshire Council, said:

“It’s our way of showing our support for all those dedicated women that make up our Armed Forces community. From those in service to veterans, cadets and their families past and present. We celebrate this every year.

“There’ll be a parade and a small flag race at the start of the day. Food, stalls and charity stalls along with charity groups. We’ve got displays, demonstrations and a dedicated veterans village.”
