Schools across East Yorkshire urged to teach youngsters about the dangers of icy water
It follows the tragedy in Solihull

Schools in East Yorkshire are being urged to take up free safety training on the dangers of icy waters following the death of 3 boys at Sollihull.
A warning's gone out that something similar could happened in the region if youngsters don't take care.
We spoke to Lizzie Dealey from the Canal and River Trust in Yorkshire:
She told us: "It's really important that children of any age are aware of the hazards that the water can pose and how important it is to stay away from the edge. "
"They need to keep their feet on the landing and enjoy that water by staying safe with their parents alongside it."
"It's really important water safety messaging, in summer months people might be tempted to enter the water to cool off".
"In winter they might either play on ice or a tragic incident when they slip and slide into that water."
"Canals such as Pocklington canal or alongside the water way at Goole are beautiful places to go so it's really just about being aware of your surroundings."
"Make sure you're careful when you're walking along towpaths and do not be tempted to enter the water."
"Pay attention to where your children are and also your dogs."
"If they're not on a lead and they do run out onto the ice there's the danger of them unfortunately going through the ice and the last thing you should do is go on the ice and rescue them."
