School And Properties Evacuated Following Hull Gas Leak

Emergency services have been dealing with a gas leak which has closed Anlaby Road in Hull.

Police were called at around 10.30 this morning as part of a multi-agency response.

Humberside Fire and Rescue have told us the incident is under control but a 50m cordon remains in place in the area.

Eastfield Primary School has been evacuated as a precautionary measure along with other properties within the cordon area.

Roads in the area have been closed with Calvert Lane, Pickering Rd, North Rd and Anlaby Rd all affected.
