Rare Shark Born In Hull
The Deep's first zebra baby shark has now been born.
A rare species of shark has been born at The Deep in Hull.
The aquariam's first Zebra shark egg has now hatched - weighing just 67 grams and only 10 centimetres in length but could grow up to 2 metres.
It'll be some time before the new addition - which hasn't yet been given a name - is allowed to go in a tank with other sharks.
She was born as part of The Deep's breeding programme, which means she could soon be moved to another an aquarium elsewhere in the UK or even Europe.

Despite being black and white as a baby, adult zebra sharks do change colour. We visited some of the older zebra sharks at the aqaurium to see what she'll look like when she grows. You can see a picture below.
