Pub worker hit by glass bottle in Hessle

Humberside Police have released CCTV of a woman they want to speak to - after a staff member at a pub in Hessle was injured after being hit with a glass bottle.

It happened around 10.30pm on Saturday 19th June.

A woman allegedly threw the bottle at the staff member, causing him a laceration to his head.

The woman then left the premises with a group of friends, getting into a white hatchback car that was parked on Hessle Square, before leaving in the direction of Hull Road.

In a statement, Humberside Police said: "Whilst extensive enquiries have taken place since the incident, we are now appealing to anyone who may recognise this woman, or who believes they were in the area at the time of the incident, to call us on our non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference 16/63046/21."
