Humberside Police are investigating after a poppy collection tin was stolen just hours before Armistice Day in Wyton near to Bilton.

A determined collector had left the tin outside their house so that people could donate, without breaking social-distancing rules.

It's believed it was taken between 4.45pm and 6.30pm on Tuesday 10th November, and that around ÂŁ40 was inside at the time.

Police want anyone who has any information to get in touch if they've seen anything suspicious.
