Humberside Police are investigating after a poppy collection tin was stolen just hours before Armistice Day in Wyton near to Bilton.

A determined collector had left the tin outside their house so that people could donate, without breaking social-distancing rules.

It's believed it was taken between 4.45pm and 6.30pm on Tuesday 10th November, and that around £40 was inside at the time.

Police want anyone who has any information to get in touch if they've seen anything suspicious.
