Police update on Joanne Hemingway murder investigation

Two women have been re-arrested.

Detectives continuing a murder investigation surrounding the death of Joanne Hemingway - following an incident in Hull’s Beverley Road on Thursday 29 June - have re-arrested two women.

The arrests of the women aged 52 and 34 follow the charging of 42 year old Glenn Foster of Beverley Road, Hull in connection with the incident.

Detective Chief Inspector Alan Curtis of the Major Crime Unit said:

“Our continuing enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death of Joanne have led us to re-arrest the women. As detectives will further interview the two today, I want to appeal again to the public . I am interested in speaking to anyone who, although they may not have witnessed the incident, could have information to assist our ongoing investigation. I would urge you, if you know anything which is in any way connected to our enquiry, to call us on 101 quoting log number 552 of 29 June 2017.
