Police treating discovery of man's body in Hull as 'unexplained'

A man's body has been discovered at Endike Lane in Hull.

Police were called at around 8.15am to reports that a man had been found dead near to Beverley and Barmston Drain off Endike Lane.

Detective Inspector Jim Clark said: “At this time, we are following lines of enquiries to identify the man whose death is being treated as unexplained.

“We are in the very early stages of our investigation as we seek to establish the exact circumstances leading up to his death.

“A scene guard remains in place whilst our enquiries continue, and those living in the area can expect to see an increased police presence.

“If anyone has any concerns at all, I encourage them to please come and speak to our officers.”
