Pensioner Attacked By Burglar In Scunthorpe
The 89 year old was slapped by the man who walked in her home
Police are investigating after an 89 year old woman was slapped by a man who walked into her home in Scunthorpe and robbed her.
He left with her handbag, a black wallet and some cash.
This happened on Rivelin Road between 1630hrs and 1635hrs on Friday 5th December.
The man got in through the unlocked back door. He then woke the woman up and demanded money.
He is described as a white man aged between 35 and 40 years old with a medium build and short brown coloured hair.
Detectives are now appealing for the public’s help with any information about who may be responsible.
