Pair charged in connection with serious assault in Grimsby

Two people have been charged following reports of a serious assault in Grimsby.

Police say they were called to the incident last week.

Jack Brett, 28-years-old, of St Chad Way, Barton has been charged with attempt grievous bodily harm, actual bodily harm, possession of an offensive weapon in a private place, possession of class B drugs, dangerous driving, driving without insurance, driving without a license.

Maia Wilson, 24-years-old, of St Chad Way, Barton has been charged with attempt grievously bodily harm, actual bodily harm, possession of an offensive weapon in a private place.

It's reported a man and woman attempted to run over a man, before assaulting him.

The pair have also been charged with holding a person in slavery or servitude in connection with a separate incident.

They've been remanded into custody and are due in court today (29/08).
