Old Goole supermarket raided

A scene guard is in place at the Co-op in Old Goole following a reports of a burglary early hours this morning.

Police say a group of men in a vehicle caused damage to the front of the supermarket in order to steal an installed ATM machine.

Enquiries are ongoing to identify those involved in the burglary.

Officers are asking if anyone’s got any information to contact them on 101.

A spokesperson from Humberside Police said:

"A scene guard is in place at commercial premises on Swinefleet Road, Goole following a burglary reported at 3:45am this morning (Friday 11 February).

"It is reported a group of men in a vehicle caused damage to the exterior of a supermarket in order to steal an installed ATM machine.

"Enquiries were instigated immediately and continue to identify those involved in the burglary.

"If anyone has any information in connection with this incident they are asked to call us on 101 quoting log 36 of 11 February. Calls can also be made anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. "
