Northern Lincolnshire's lowest coronavirus areas

Coronavirus rates are varying wildly across northern Lincolnshire.

The neighbourhoods with the highest rates are around four times those of the lowest.

Some hotspots are still in the ‘purple’ tier on the government’s map (400 to 799 cases per 100,000 residents.)

However, a few have now fallen into the light blue (100 to 199), which hasn’t been seen in the area since the start of the third this summer.

In Grimsby, the Littlefield North neighbourhood is now in this low category – despite sharing a border with two purple areas.

Its rate is 191 cases per 100,000 people living there.

Scunthorpe Westcliff is at 165 per 100,000 and Scunthorpe North is slightly higher at 177 per 100,000.

The area of Westwoodside, Haxey and Owston Ferry has also fallen to 192 per 100,000.

Scunthorpe Lincoln Gardens – 507 per 100,000

No new coronavirus-related deaths have been reported in northern Lincolnshire’s hospitals on Monday.

There are 33 patients at Grimsby (with two in ICU) and 25 at Scunthorpe (with one in ICU).

The overall rate for North East Lincolnshire has fallen to 359 per 100,000 according to government data.

North Lincolnshire’s rate has risen slightly to 331 per 100,000.
