Storm Dudley has swept across the UK with East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire escaping severe disruption, however the worst may not be over.

The region has seen a handful of houses without power in places including the Driffield and Skirlaugh areas.

A flood alert's in place for the Spurn Point area whilst the Humber bridge is closed to high sided vehicles and has a 30 mile an hour speed limit.

But other parts of the UK such as Scotland and the North East have seen thousands of homes without electricity.

Storm Eunice is due to hit with even stronger winds forecast.

It's thought winds could reach gusts of a hundred miles an hour.

An amber weather warning's been put in place which is more serious than the yellow one for Dudley.

It's expected to come into force overnight.
