Two more arrested following fatal stabbing in Hull

Police have arrested two more people following the death of a man in Hull, on Wednesday.

Emergency services were called to reports of a man with stab wounds outside a property on Arundel Close.

David Hunt, 45, was taken to hospital, where he died from his injuries.

His family are being supported by specially trained police officers.

Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Chief Inspector Jayne Goodens said: “Over the past five days, I have had a dedicated team of detectives exploring a number of lines of enquiries, including house to house and reviewing and scouring CCTV footage around the area.

“As part of the enquiry we have arrested a further two people.

“Five people who have also been arrested in connection with the incident have since been released on conditional bail whilst our investigation continues.

“A further two people have since been unconditionally released.

“Two people aged 16 and 20 remain in police custody at this time.

“I can confirm we are not seeking anyone else in connection with the investigation at this time.”

“I continue to appeal to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident, or anyone with information, dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage that may assist, to please contact us our non-emergency number 101 number, quoting log 563 of 19 June.
