The new National Living Wage comes into effect today but it's being critcised by workers under 25 - who won't be benefitting.

20-year-old Lucy Cuthbert works at Oaktree Day Nursery in Willerby and unlike most of her colleagues, won't be getting the extra pay. She thinks it's 'unfair'.

Anyone over 25 will now get ÂŁ7.20 an hour.

Frances Rowbottom also works at the same nursery and is one of 12 workers there set to get an extra ÂŁ75 a month. She says it means she won't have to struggle as much:

Sally Fitzgerald manages the Nursery and is worried about how she's going to pay for it:

More than one in four employees in Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire will benefit from the wage increase.
