Five years on from his son's disappearance - the dad of Russell Bohling says he won't rest until he's found.

18-year-old Russell vanished in March 2010 after he left the family home in West Ella in East Yorkshire to go to Bishop Buron College where he studied.

His car was later discovered at Bempton Cliffs nature reserve and although police and the family believe Russell is dead, he's never been found.

Roger suspects there could have been some third-party involvement and is appealing for more information. He told Viking FM:

"We're just waiting for news about Russell's body being found, the police told us five years ago that they thought he was dead, that they believed he had died in a tragic accident, but there's no explanation for where his body is.

"The only thing we can hope for is that his body will be accidentally found or that someone who may have some idea or knowledge of where his body is, actually decides to speak out and give us a clue perhaps.

"There was nothing in his behaviour in the months leading up to his disappearance that would have suggested that he would want to harm himself, there's no evidence that he was in communication with anybody other than his close circle of friends. He left on that morning saying "see you tonight"

"As a close family member, you just have to know and I don't think the passing of time makes any difference to that. There can be no closure. We just go from one anniversary to another hoping that something beyond our control is going to happen.

"You can't stop it because there's no change in the circumstances. Russell left for college that morning and his last words were, "see you tonight". His friends say he was in good spirits. Russell's disappearance is a mystery, a genuine mystery."
