Three men charged with firearms and kidnap offences after being arrested in North Lincolnshire

Three men have been charged with offences including having a firearm with intent to commit an offence and conspiring to kidnap after reports of suspicious activity at an empty property in North Lincolnshire.

Police were called to the building in Goxhill on January 28th and recovered a number of items including a suspected stolen vehicle, a firearm and what are believed to be drugs.

Officers carried out a major search of the area.

Anthony Andjole, 29-years-old, of no fixed abode, has been charged with having a firearm with intent to commit an offence, conspiring to kidnap, and handling stolen goods.

David Glen-Meade, 32-years-old, of Home Close in Leicestershire, has been charged with conspiring to kidnap, having a firearm with intent to commit an offence, and handling stolen goods.

Justin Render, 34-years-old, Sheridan Street in Leicestershire, has been charged with possession of class B drugs, having a firearm with intent to commit an offence, conspiring to kidnap, and handling stolen goods.

All three men appeared at Grimsby Magistrates Court on Saturday 1 February and have since been remanded into custody to appear at Grimsby Crown Court on Monday 3 March.

Police also say that following their enquiries a 33 year old -old woman and 49-year-old man were also arrested at a property in Doncaster.

They have since been released on conditional bail whilst enquiries continue.
