Man sustains "life-changing injuries" after coming off e-scooter in Hull
It happened earlier this week on Spring Bank West
A man has sustained what's been called "life changing injuries" after an e-scooter crash on Spring Bank West in Hull.
Emergency Services were called around 10.30 pm on Tuesday night (21/11) to reports of a road traffic collision.
It's thought the man was travelling along Spring Bank West on an e-scooter, and upon reaching the junction with Southburn Avenue, he's believed to have come off the scooter.
It's not clear why or how that happened.
He was subsequently taken to hospital to receive medical treatment and is believed to have sustained life changing injuries.
Humberside Police say they're "looking to establish the circumstances" surrounding the situation, and work out how the rider sustained his injuries.
In particular, they'd like to speak to the driver of a car, who they think was travelling behind the e-scooter at the time.
Police are asking witnesses, or people with dashcam footage to get in touch, quoting log 549 of 21/11
