Man suffers life threatening injuries after being knocked off his bike in Hull

The driver failed to stay at the scene before Police could arrive.

A witness appeal has been launched after a man was knocked off his bike in Hull - suffering life threatening injuries.

A silver car stopped after the collision but then went again before Police could arrive.

A Police spokesperson said:

"Shortly before 6.30pm on 20 August a cyclist was knocked from his bike on York Road in Hull. He suffered serious and potentially life-changing injuries in the incident.

"A silver car was involved in the collision, the drive initially stopped to give assistance to the cyclist but left the scene before the police arrived. If you were the driver involved in this collision or witnessed the incident please call us on the non-emergency number 101 quoting log 461 of 20/08/17."
