Arrest made following reports of a man believed to be in possession of a knife in Beverley
No one sustained any injuries as a result of the incident
A man has been arrested after Police received a report of a man believed to be in possession of a knife.
It happened around 10pm on the B1428 in South Dalton on the 14th August.
Officers were deployed and while on their way to where the man was last seen, it is reported they spotted a man matching the description of the suspect near Molescroft Road in Beverley.
A 27-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession of a knife in a public place.
No one sustained any injuries as a result of the incident.
The man remains in police custody whilst enquiries are ongoing.
